Hello, I'm
Mathis Seidl
A student-athlete studying Mechanical Engineering & Robotics at Boston University
About Me

I am an engineering student from Germany completing my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering & Robotics in Boston. I'm about to start my senior year.
Having interned at Siemens in Summer 2025 in the Industrial Metaverse Lab as an Automation Engineer, I was surrounded by Digital Twins, Virtual Reality, and various robotic hardware, immersed in the future of todays technology. This experience is what led me to find my calling in the automation industry.
To build on this experience, I joined Amazon as an Operations Engineer Intern for Summer 2026, where I'm working with large scale automation systems in fulfillment centers and also with a really cool robot - Vulcan.
Besides academics, I keep up my passion for tennis by practicing with the MIT Tennis team, and stay active through running where I just ran my PR (1:29h) in the half marathon in St Petersburg, Florida.
Stay a while and explore my projects where I turn ideas into real-world systems through CAD, simulation-based analysis, and hands-on assembly.

For four years, I trained as a student-athlete at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in France, reaching a world ranking of 976 in U18s.
I carried that passion into college, practicing with the varsity MIT men’s tennis team as a freshman and stepping into a Volunteer Assistant Coach role during my sophomore year. I am currently a junior.
